The Fox Survey is now closed.
Foxes Live: Wild in the City and the University of Brighton’s Ecology Department would like to thank everyone who took part. Over 18,000 of you filled in the survey and this data will provide a rich resource for the academics at Brighton to improve our understanding of how we interact with urban foxes and our attitudes towards them.
From the first findings of the data we already know that in general 86% of those who responded like foxes, whereas 14% do not. This represents an increase in those who dislike foxes since a similar survey was taken fifteen years ago. Interestingly, more women than men like foxes and older people tend to like foxes less than younger people. Watch the video
We’ve only just started interrogating the data that you have given us. Your participation has been invaluable.
Thanks again,
The Foxes Live Team
