Mark Evans
Experienced vet, expert in the anatomy of domestic animals and all-round animal lover, Mark Evans joins our mission for the truth about Britain's urban foxes.
Mark has enjoyed an illustrious career as a veterinary surgeon and physician, working mainly with horses, cats and dogs, but also with farm animals (he admits to being particularly fond of cows). Through his work, he has developed a passion for animal welfare, focusing particularly on exaggerated anatomy and inherited disease in dogs, pet obesity and greyhound racing. He has authored 12 books on animal welfare, and presented over 500 hours of factual television programming.
Mark is also the face of Channel 4's BAFTA-winning natural history programme 'Inside Nature's Giants', where he's worked his way through the animal kingdom from a sperm whale to a giant squid, from a hippo to a baboon; and from a camel to a polar bear. As well as hosting a variety of shows for BBC1, Mark has fronted 10 major engineering series for Discovery in which, amongst other amazing toys, he has built his own supercar, 200mph plane and executive helicopter.
