The Fox Report: Weekend Update

Over the past week Grace has spent most of the week in a garden with the trampoline, but this changed over the weekend. She decided to venture out on Saturday, heading 3km South West of her usual territory in the early morning. Grace has visited this remote area three times now, so perhaps a relocation is imminent? After her excursion, she spent most of Sunday in an abandoned house, which on investigation was an old squat filled with foxes. A fox hostel of sorts.

Patch headed to a children's playground on Friday. It is not clear why, but it has been known for foxes to take children’s nappies back to their dens. We cannot confirm whether Patch indulges in this kind of behaviour, but he was certainly in the right setting for it.

Loxy has managed to overtake Ringtail in the least active fox category, and spent her Saturday doing loops of two gardens. If you're missing seeing Loxy on the map, please do not worry. Our GPS tracking records accurate movements and our Loxy keeps finding herself in holes and in black spots where there is a lot of interference with the satellites picking up information from the GPS collar to our map. Luckily, at Foxes Live HQ we're following her directly, and can confirm that she is safe and well.

Ringtail spent his Friday trawling some gardens in the South, which also have trampolines. He spent the rest of his time between the Methodist church, some ponds and a swimming pool.

Rathbone spent most of the weekend near the railtracks. On two occasions he did venture slightly out of his territory, two blocks to the South on Saturday and via a bridge on Sunday. We're wondering at Foxes HQ what could have happened to make ultra-conservative Rathbone so adventurous? Time will tell...
